Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has called on all ministries and institutions across the United Arab Emirates to raise the nation’s flag simultaneously at 11 a.m. on November 1. This nationwide gesture is designed to foster a sense of unity and pride across the Emirates.

In a statement on social media, Sheikh Mohammed expressed the significance of the flag, calling it "the symbol of our country, the secret of our strength and the source of our pride". He extended an invitation for all Emiratis to participate in the celebration, uniting under the symbol that represents their shared identity and values.

"We celebrate the symbol of our country, the secret of our strength and the source of our pride: the flag of the United Arab Emirates", he said, emphasizing the importance of Flag Day as a national occasion. Sheikh Mohammed also described Flag Day as "an expression of love for the nation, loyalty to the flag, and our renewed determination to keep the flag of our union flying high, expressing the pride, glory and dignity of the United Arab Emirates".

Flag Day, first observed in 2013, is a nationwide celebration established to honor the founding of the UAE, its unity, and the national pride shared by Emiratis. As November 1 approaches, government institutions and citizens are expected to rally in this shared observance, raising the UAE flag as a symbol of unity and commitment to the nation.
