Dubai Media Office warns action against outlets publishing false news

The Government of Dubai Media Office has warned that action will be taken against media institutions that publish incorrect news or information related to the emirate.

The office said the necessary measures will be taken in line with the laws and regulatory frameworks in force in Dubai and the UAE.

It urged media outlets and the public to obtain news and information from official and reliable sources, and to verify accuracy before publishing or circulating any information.

The office also called on the public to avoid circulating rumours, inaccurate news and erroneous press reports.
