Ajman 2030, Sheikh Ammar unveils visionary transformation

Ajman: Crown Prince of Ajman Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi unveiled Ajman 2030, a visionary initiative to transform the Emirate into a modern and vibrant city. This ambitious project is set to enhance the quality of life for its residents and position the Emirate as a leading destination for culture, tourism and commerce.

Under the visionary leadership of Sheikh Ammar, Ajman 2030 encompasses a comprehensive set of goals and objectives aimed at driving sustainable growth and development.

One of the primary objectives of Ajman 2030 is to boost culture, art and sports participation by 400 per cent. This initiative seeks to create a vibrant cultural scene and encourage active lifestyles among residents.

“We want to foster a thriving, confident, inclusive society living in a flourishing urban environment that has been redesigned around the people living within it”, said Sheikh Ammar.

The project also aims to increase the number of public beaches by 300 percent. Additionally, the initiative seeks to develop green spaces, providing residents with more opportunities for recreation and relaxation.

As part of Ajman 2030, rural and community areas will undergo significant development to improve infrastructure and amenities. This includes the creation of vibrant community hubs where residents can come together to socialize and engage in various activities.

One of the flagship projects under Ajman 2030 is the establishment of a Dh1 billion commercial port in the Al Zora area. This port will serve as a key hub for trade and commerce, further boosting Ajman's economic growth and prosperity.

Several key projects have been identified under the project. This includes the construction of the Ajman Heart District, located in the Al Safia area, which is set to provide residents with a vibrant community space for outdoor activities, sports and picnics.

The picturesque village of Masfout is poised for transformation into a major tourist attraction under Ajman 2030. With its stunning natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, Masfout will offer visitors a unique and immersive experience.

Ajman 2030 includes plans to upskill residents and expand job opportunities to meet the evolving needs of the emirate's economy. This initiative will focus on education and skills development, empowering individuals to thrive in the modern workforce.
