Saudi Media Minister commends Gulf Madhyamam’s new digital edition ‘iRead’

Gulf Madhyamam launched 'iRead', its latest digital platform, as a gift to overseas residentson on the occasion of Saudi National Day.
The minister was introduced to the new digital platform during a government press briefing held at the Crown Plaza Digital City.
Gulf Madhyamam’s Saudi Resident Manager, Saleem Mahi, presented the edition to Al-Dosari, who reviewed the platform with keen interest. Expressing his appreciation, the minister highlighted the significance of such digital initiatives in enhancing media accessibility.
Accompanied by Dr. Abdurahman Ali Muhammad Al Umairi, Director of International Media Relations, the minister directed his team to collect further details about the publication. Following the event, a copy of the digital edition was formally delivered to the minister’s office.
The iRead edition introduces a multimedia experience that allows readers to browse written news and listen to or watch content on a single platform. This feature-rich approach, officials noted, reflects the growing demand for integrated digital journalism in the region.
The media director also extended his appreciation to Gulf Madhyamam for its innovative contribution, recognizing it as a step forward in the digital transformation of Arabic and expatriate media in Saudi Arabia.
