Saudi cabinet backs proposal for Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh to address Israeli-Palestinian issue

The Saudi cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has endorsed the Kingdom's proposal to host a joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh. The summit is intended to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
In a session held in Riyadh, the cabinet also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's strong commitment to Sudan’s security and stability. The Kingdom pledged to support efforts aimed at resolving the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman updated the council on key diplomatic initiatives. He shared details of his recent meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, where both leaders reaffirmed their backing for the Palestinian and Lebanese people and vowed to continue providing humanitarian assistance to those in need.
The crown prince also briefed the cabinet on his official visit to Egypt, where he met with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussions between the two leaders focused on the close ties between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in various fields.
The cabinet expressed optimism about the newly formed Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council, which is co-chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President El-Sisi. Additionally, they welcomed the recent signing of an agreement aimed at protecting and promoting mutual investments between the two nations.
