Cruise Saudi has launched its inaugural vessel, AROYA, at Jeddah Islamic Port in a milestone for Saudi Arabia's maritime tourism. The ship’s introduction represents a significant step in the Kingdom's efforts to position itself as a global player in the cruise industry, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

AROYA, a state-of-the-art ship, boasts 19 decks and 1,678 cabins and suites, offering accommodations for up to 3,362 passengers. Designed to provide a comprehensive luxury experience, the ship features 12 restaurants and 17 cafes serving cuisines from five continents, alongside a focus on Saudi culinary traditions.

Beyond dining, the vessel offers extensive entertainment options, including a shopping area, a 1,018-seat theater, a children’s zone, and dedicated prayer spaces. The ship is equipped with exclusive facilities, such as designated women’s hours at health and entertainment venues, and includes sports amenities like a walking track and football and basketball courts.

AROYA’s launch highlights Cruise Saudi’s commitment to fostering maritime tourism and enhancing the travel experience in line with Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to diversify its economy and showcase its cultural heritage.
