Gulf Madhyamam Independence Day quiz ‘India @ 79’ begins today

Muscat: Gulf Madhyamam has launched the ‘India @ 79’ Freedom Quiz to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day. The quiz starts today, August 1, and will run through August 30, offering participants the chance to win daily and grand prizes.
The online competition will feature questions based on the history of India’s freedom struggle, which will be published daily in Gulf Madhyamam’s print edition and website. Participants who submit correct answers online will be entered into daily and grand prize draws.
Each day, one winner will receive a gift hamper from Sixar Foods. In total, 35 prizes will be awarded throughout the campaign, including daily prizes for 30 participants, three encouragement prizes and two mega prizes.
The mega prizes include a laptop sponsored by Joyalukkas Exchange and another special gift from Beema Insurance. The campaign is organised in partnership with Joyalukkas Exchange, Beema Insurance, Abeer Hospital and Sixar Foods.
