Gaza: In the Gaza enclave, Israel continue its brutality against Palestinian refugees, bombing again two schools where those who lost their homes and valuables sought refuge. The bombings were carried out at Al-Zahraa School and Abdel Fattah Hamoud School in the eastern area of Gaza City. The strikes had killed 12 people, as seven people were killed in Al Zahraa School and five in Hamoud School.

Meanwhile, the Wafa news agency reported that 15 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Buraj refugee camp in Gaza. Israel again issued mass evacuation notices to residents of Khan Younis, Gaza's second-largest town. The warning is that airstrikes will be carried out targeting Hamas fighters.

Israeli forces returned to Khan Younis after inflicting heavy damage in ground and air attacks over a period of ten months. In early July, Israeli forces conducted a mass evacuation from there.

In Gaza, 2.3 million people have fled several times since the Israeli offensive began.

Most of the affected Gazans live in tents in refugee camps. The shortage of food, drinking water, medicine, etc., has caused a humanitarian crisis in the enclave. The death toll so far has crossed 39,699, while 91,722 people were injured.

Meanwhile, Israel's foreign ministry revoked the accreditation of eight Norwegian diplomats working with the Palestinian Authority. The ministry said this was in response to anti-Israeli measures, including those recognized by the Palestinian state. Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide responded that this is a tough decision and will affect efforts to help the Palestinian people.

In the meantime, the United States, Egypt and Qatar invited Israel and Hamas for ceasefire talks on August 15. Though Israel accepted the request, Hamas is yet to respond, Al Jazeera reported
