On Tuesday, Hyderabad FC defeated Odisha FC 6-1 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa, in the Hero Indian Super League. On a mind-blowing second-half display, Hyderabad FC struck twice through Bartholomew Ogbeche, twice through Edu Garcia, once through Javier Siverio, and once through Joao Victor.

Odisha equalized through an own goal in the 16th minute, but that was all Odisha could manage from there until the final whistle. According to the results, Hyderabad remains second in the points table, with 15 points from eight games, while Odisha is seventh, with 10 points from eight games. With eight goals, Ogbeche remains the top scorer in the league.

The euphoria of Hyderabad was short-lived as Odisha equalized with a free-kick that squirmed in off Juanan's chest. It was almost a repeat of Hyderabad's opener.

Then shortly after, Odisha had a great opportunity to go ahead, but Jonathas Cristian fluffed his lines from close after Nandhakumar Sekar had sent in a delectable cross that went by diving Chinglensana Singh.

In the second half, Odisha created some great chances before Ogbeche scored with a thumping header off Edu Garcia's cross for a 2-1 lead.

Despite leading 2-1 at halftime, Hyderabad swept Odisha off their feet in the second half with a stunning performance. Edu Garcia took advantage of a defender's mistake and smashed home from close range.

Javier Siverio came on for Ogbeche in the 68th minute, and minutes later the latter scored. He redirected a Juanan ball into the net while five minutes to full time, he won a penalty for being brought down inside the box by Gaurav Bora. From the spot, Joao Victor scored an easy goal past the keeper.
