Covid 19: 8,253 people tested positive on Saturday in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid cases continued on the upward trend in Kerala, with 8, 253 infections and 25 deaths reported on Saturday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in a Facebook post.

According to the statement, 6,468 people had been cured, taking the total to 2,87,261 while there were 95,657 active cases.

The state tested 67,593 samples in the past 24 hours, while 2,83,517 people are under observation at various places, including 23,455 at hospitals. There are 624 hotspots in the state.
