Mumbai: Hearing the bail plea of a man accused of repeatedly raping a girl since she was ten years old, the Bombay High Court ruled that the crime was not only shocking to the conscience of a prudent man but also obnoxious and dismissed his plea.

A single bench of Justice Prithviraj Chavan in the judgment on Monday said, "words will fall short to describe her mental, psychological and physical state and the impact of the ordeal she had undergone at the hands of the accused." The court said so after examining the survivor's 27-page diary in which she described the ordeal she went through.

The court also said that the survivor became a "nymphomaniac" after what she had gone through for years, PTI reported.

The parents of the survivor claimed the accused and his wife took advantage of the fact that the girl's father was working in Dubai.

According to the parents of the survivor said that the accused and his wife took advantage of the fact that the girl's father was working in Dubai.

The girl's parents found the diary from her room in 2021 when she was 17 years old. The girl had eloped with a boy that year, and her parents rummaged through her room to find the diary. After they read about what their child had gone through repeatedly in the years before, they lodged a police complaint that year.

According to the diary, the accused raped her when she was in the 4th standard, and his wife was aware of it. The accused used to give her some tablets that sexually aroused her.

A special court granted the accused's wife bail but not him. After that, the man approached the High Court. The high court, however, ruled that the wife was equally guilty since she intentionally aided and abetted the illegal acts her husband committed.
