Jammu : Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir, said on Friday that the state wants all allegations related to the bribery allegations against former J&K governor Satya Pal Malik investigated. "We have asked the CBI to do so," he said.

He said, "We want to clarify things as high-ranking people have made such allegations," according to news agency ANI.

A probe into the former governor of J&K's allegations was launched by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday.

Malik alleged that he was offered *300 crore for clearing files of the union and major industrial houses during his time in the governor's office in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Two files had come for my consideration. One of the secretaries told me that if I approve these, I can get ₹150 crores for each. I turned down the offer saying that I had brought five kurta pajamas to Kashmir and will just go back with them," Satya Pal Malik had said on October 17 last year at a function in Rajasthan.

In addition, he stated that he refused to take the bribe. "I canceled both the deals. I'm ready for a probe. I'm neat and tidy," he continued.

"One of my secretaries told me that I can get *150 crores in each of the deals, but I informed the PM about the scam." As the PM told me not to compromise on corruption, I must appreciate him for telling me they claim to be close confidantes." He added
