New Delhi/ Mathura: A stationed train in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura rolled back and climbed onto the platform injuring a woman on Tuesday night.

Footage from a security camera showed a Railway employee getting into the engine cabin after passengers deboarded, NDTV reported.

The employee, identified as Sachin, was seen talking over a video call when he put his bag on the throttle of the engine.

The accident, the report said citing official sources, occurred after the throttle went into forward position from the pressure of the bag, pushing the train towards the platform.

A high-level probe has been initiated to find out the exact cause, alongside suspending five people, including Sachin, Divisional Railway Manager Tej Prakash Agrawal reportedly said.

It is also probed if the employee, who got into the cabin for the keys, was drunk at the time.

"Sachin was sent for a medical test and his blood sample has been taken to find out the exact level of alcohol consumption," sources reportedly said.
