PM Modi, Sharad Pawar share stage in Pune upsetting the Opposition camp

PM Modi walked over to the veteran leader and shook hands with him, warmly chatting for a few seconds, before greeting others on the dais.
The two leaders, according to ANI, had a ‘candid conversation’, which is evident from Sharad Pawar’s wholesome smile.
Visuals from the event, which is being widely watched, raises questions about the strength of Opposition’s recently raised alliance—INDIA.
The platform that is aimed at the taking on the BJP is set to meet for the third time in Mumbai.
PM Modi received the Lokmanya Tilak National Award at the event organized by the Lokmanya Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust with Sharad Pawar as the chief guest.
Other leaders today joined Sharad Pawar to greet PM Modi included Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar, who recently crossed over to the BJP camp.
PM Modi greeted Ajit Pawar, giving him a pat on the back, according to the report.
The last time PM Modi and Sharad Pawar appeared together for a public event was seven years ago.
It is reported that the Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena appealed to Sharad Pawar to skip the event with PM Modi, which he rejected.
