Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Combined Commanders' Conference-2023 at the Kushabhau Thakre Hall on Saturday in Bhopal.

The inaugural three-day meeting of military commanders, with the theme "Ready, Resurgent, Relevant," took place in Bhopal. Discussions on a wide range of national security-related topics, such as jointness and theaterization in the armed forces, took place during the Conference. The preparation of the Armed Forces and progress in the defence ecosystem towards attaining 'Aatmanirbharta' was reviewed.

The conference witnessed the participation of commanders from the armed forces and senior officers from the Ministry of Defence. Inclusive and informal interaction was also held on the occasion.

The defence minister also participated in the conference. Before PM came to Bhopal to attend the Combined Commanders' Conference-2023, he lauded defence exports reaching an all-time high.

Before coming to Bhopal PM tweeted: Will be in Bhopal today. In the morning will take part in the Combined Commanders' Conference and later will flag off the Vande Bharat Express between Bhopal and New Delhi. This train will boost connectivity between MP and Delhi.

Before PM came to Bhopal to attend the Combined Commanders' Conference-2023, he lauded defence exports reaching an all-time high.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi applauded the fact that India's defence exports have reached an all-time high of Rs 15, 920 crores in FY 2022-2023.

The Prime Minister tweeted in reply to the announcement by defence minister Rajnath Singh: "Excellent! A clear manifestation of India's talent and enthusiasm towards 'Make in India.' It also shows the reforms in this sector over the last few years are delivering good results. Our Government will keep supporting efforts to make India a defence production hub."

Rajnath Singh tweeted: "India's defence exports have reached an all-time high of Rs 15, 920 crores in FY 2022-2023. It is a remarkable achievement for the country. Under the inspiring leadership of PM @narendramodi, our defence exports will continue to grow exponentially."
