Parle launches limited-edition 'Melody Tiramisu' to mark Modi-Meloni friendship

New Delhi: Parle has launched a special limited-edition version of its Melody to celebrate India-Italy friendship, with the new product named Melody Tiramisu.
The 180-gram pack will be available exclusively through online delivery app Blinkit, the company said. The sweet has been introduced with a special message on the wrapper that reads: “Celebrating India-Italy friendship”.
Unlike the regular chocolate-caramel flavour, the limited-edition variant comes in a coffee flavour inspired by Italy’s famous dessert, tiramisu.
The launch comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gifted Melody to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during their meeting in Rome in May. Meloni later used the hashtag #Melody under a picture with Modi, a gesture that sparked widespread attention and social media buzz around the sweet.
