Kirmani Manoj the key accused in TP Chanderashekaran murder case arrested during a rave party at Wayanad

Kirmani Manoj one among the key accused in the murder case of TP Chanderashekaran was arrested from a party at Wayanad . At present he was out on a parole.

After receiving specific information , police carried out extensive search in resorts at Wayanad and further rounded 15 people including Manoj while celebrating wedding anniversary of a goon

Police sources confirmed that they recovered drugs including Marijuana and MDMA and is under further investigation. Police refused to provide the details of other accused

On May 4 2012 T.P. Chandrasekaran leader of the Revolutionary Marxist Party was hacked 51 times on the way back home in a motorbike

11 of the accused including three middle level CPI-M leaders were sentenced for life imprisonment by court in this case.

This murder had large impact in the political scenario of Kerala and it was largely speculated that the top level CPI-M leaders are involved in the brutal killing of a political opponent

Despite of all the efforts and campaigns from CPIM KK Rema widow of Chandrasekaran won the 2021 elections from Vadakkara constituency with a stunning victory.

Pinarayi Vijayan government have been subjected to severe crticism for giving parole for the accused in the case benting all the rules and regulations since Left alliance assumed office in 2016.

Taking this issue in to media KK Rema said that she is not surprised with actions from g0overment.

"Both the government and the CPI-M are supporting the accused. After Covid pandemic just look how these accused have got the benefit of it and are out for nearly two years now. I often see one of the accused in the same case presently out on parole engaged in palliative care of the CPI-M in our locality. We will see what can be done and we will take up the issue legally," said Rema.
