Kejriwal confronts BJP, Congress claws with comic

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal released a cartoon, hitting back BJP and Congress who had branded him a terrorist and issued allegations that he had made separatists comments, NDTV reported.

In the cartoon posted on Twitter, a meek-looking Kejriwal was targeted by firing guns. He is depicted holding a book titled schools while the guns, projecting out of his critics' mouth, aimed at him were firing the phrases 'goli', 'saalon', and 'gaddaron'. One of his adversaries is pointing at him, carrying the book and shouting that the terrorist is carrying a strange weapon.
Today, he had strongly retorted back against the allegations levelled against him. He described the statements against him as "comedy" and added that he is the world's sweetest terrorist who provides schools, hospitals, electricity, roads, and water. He also asked if he was a terrorist why Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hesitant in arresting him.
On Sunday, ahead of the Punjab polls, Kejriwal was under fire after a video of a former party leader surfaced that claimed that the AAP chief had spoken about being the Prime Minister of a separate state. AAP, however, condemned the statement and called Vishwas's remarks malicious, unfounded, fabricated and inflammatory.
It added that the allegations promote hatred, ill-will, feeling of hostility in society, particularly against the party. The Election Commission had banned the video. But hours after PM Modi made a reference to the video in an election rally in Punjab, the EC withdrew the ban it issued on the video.
Punjab will go for polls on Sunday.
