Bengaluru: ISRO chief S Somanath has received warm greetings from Indigo's cabin crew and passengers upon his boarding the flight recently.

An undated footage showed the cabin crew and passengers congratulating him with rounds of applause.

Since India’s incredible moon landing on August 23, ISRO and its chief S Somanath have been receiving outpouring of love.

ISRO chief S Somanath piloted India’s moon vision to an enormous success after two previous failures.

An air hostess was seen greeting Somanath with great pride urging passengers and crew to welcome the ‘national hero’.

‘I'm glad to announce the presence of Mr S Somanath- the chairman of ISRO who boarded our flight today. A huge round of applause for Mr S Somanath and his team. We are proud to have you on board, sir. Thank you so much for making India proud,’ the air hostess announced.

Following this, the crew members and fellow passengers did not wait to greet the scientist with a round of applause.

Alongside, a flight attendant handed to the ISRO chief a few goodies and a note of gratitude, according to NDTV.

The footage on Instagram quickly went viral with one user commenting ‘That's really sweet of you to welcome our Chairman sir. Thank you for showing some love towards ISRO’.

‘Proud moment and you are very luck to get a chance to meet him and to greet him’, another user commented.

Expressing gratitude to the crew members for greeting the scientist, a third user said ‘India is changing for sure’.
