A one-month-old infant tragically lost her life during a police raid in Raghunathgarh village, Alwar district, Rajasthan.

The child, identified as Alisba, was allegedly crushed to death by a police officer during an early morning raid conducted to arrest a suspect in a cyber fraud case.

The incident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. on Saturday when police officers arrived in two jeeps and forcefully entered the home of Imran Khan, a labourer. According to the family, Imran was asleep with his wife and two children when officers barged in without prior notice.

Alisba’s mother recounted the horrifying moment: "I was sleeping on the cot with my infant daughter when police stormed into our home. They pulled me out and pushed me outside. They stepped on my daughter’s head and killed her."

The lack of female officers during the raid has also raised serious concerns. The grieving family alleged that when the mother tried to resist, she was forcefully thrown out of the house, leaving the infant vulnerable. Alisba succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

Following the tragedy, the police reportedly ignored the family’s complaints, further enraging locals. Villagers staged a protest demanding strict action against the officers responsible. Under public pressure, a complaint was eventually filed against two policemen involved in the raid.

Opposition leader Tika Ram Jully condemned the incident, calling it an example of police brutality and extortion: "Look at the horror unfolding in Alwar. The police harass people under the pretense of cyber fraud, conduct illegal raids, and extort money."

The infant’s death has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many questioning the police’s disregard for standard procedures and the absence of prior notice before the raid.
