Pune: Going extremes to film videos for social media is now a trend with many youngsters ending up in fatal accidents.

One such video going viral on social media showed a man and woman risking their lives to film video for instagram reels, NDTV reported.

The woman was seen clinging to the hand of a man from the edge of a building in Pune.

As they went ahead with the stunt, a crew filmed it reminding, what NDTV reported, a scene from 'Amazing Spider-Man 2'.

The movie had Peter Parker trying to save Gwen Stacy from falling off a building.

The two people in Pune were checking their ‘grip strength’ with the woman hanging on his hand nearly 100 feet from the ground.

The stunt was performed near Swami Narayan Temple in the city where two people risked their lives for views on Instagram.

Identity of the man and the woman involved in the stunt alongside the filming crew is not known.

The shooting involved a multi-camera setup with the man lying flat on his stomach atop the building while the woman hanging from his hand.

There were no safety precautions for both the man and the woman while performing the stunt.

As the stunt started, two men on the roof were seen filming it with one of them coming close on the edge, while another person shot the video from the ground.

The reel caused outrage on social media, with many calling out it for risking their lives.

Though people called for action against the content creators, no complaint has been registered yet.
