Bengal: TMC leading in 29 seats; Moitra, Pathan win

West Bengal: In West Bengal, Trinamool Congress is leading in 29 seats, including those contested by the likes of Mahua Moitra, Shatrughan Sinha, Kirti Azad, Rachana Banerjee and Kalyan Banerjee.

Following their stellar performance, Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee said that the results show that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lost all credibility and that he should resign immediately.

Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan and Mahua Moitra- who was suspended by the parliament ethics committee in December last year- trailed behind earlier but are now leading.
