Though the dissent within the TMC over the infallibility of Abhishek Banerjee has been simmering for quite some time now, it was reportedly a meeting between CM Suvendu Adhikari and TMC rebel Ritabrata in Delhi that culminated in the TMC split, through which the BJP is eyeing greater strength in Parliament for the passage of key constitutional amendments.
