Sonbhadra (UP) : Thirteen labourers were injured after a boiler exploded in the Lanco Anpara thermal power plant in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district on Sunday morning
While eight of them were discharged after receiving first-aid, Five of the injured labourers were in a serious condition and have been shifted to Varanasi for advanced treatment.
Relief and rescue operations have begun to evacuate other labourers who are trapped inside the power plant.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed district officials to provide all possible assistance to the injured persons. and has asked the concerned officials to investigate the incident and fix the responsibility for the lapses that led to the accident.
