Young actress reveals declining Salman Khan's lighthearted marriage proposal

In a recent revelation, actress Sharmin Segal, who is currently making waves for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's debut OTT show, "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar," disclosed that she had turned down a marriage proposal from Salman. Sharmin's connection with Salman traces back to her childhood when she first encountered the superstar on the sets of "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam."

Recalling the incident in an interview with ETimes, Sharmin revealed that Salman, in a lighthearted manner, popped the question, "Will you marry me?" To which she responded with a laugh and a resolute "No." Despite harboring a childhood crush on Salman, particularly drawn to his iconic song "O O Jane Jana" from "Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya," the concept of marriage eluded her comprehension at the time, leading her to decline every proposal, including Salman's.

Salman Khan's romantic life has been a frequent topic of discussion, with his past relationships with prominent Bollywood actresses like Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan often making headlines.
