Vijay-starrer 'Beast' single 'Arabic Kuthu' to be released on February 14

Vijay stars in director Nelson's action entertainer 'Beast', and it's set to release on Valentine's Day on February 14. The song is titled 'Arabic Kuthu'.

A promo video for the single was released by the makers of the film on Monday, and the video racked up over 7.5 lakh views within half an hour of its release on YouTube.

It is hilarious to see directors Nelson and Anirudh conversing about the song in the promo video.

Announcing his desire for many years to compose an Arabic song, Anirudh has now decided to score one for Nelson's film since no director wants a song like that in their film.

Anirudh persuades Nelson to combine Arabic and Kuthu, saying he'll compose an Arabic Kuthu number. Nelson is stunned by the idea, saying he only wants a 'Kuthu' number.

Nelson refuses to be stumped by Anirudh's request and instead calls his close friend, actor Sivakarthikeyan, in order to locate a lyricist who knows Arabic.

Anirudh will compose the music for this song, and Sivakarthikeyan will write the lyrics. The song has music by Anirudh and lyrics by Sivakarthikeyan.
