Thalapathy Vijay joins Instagram, creates a new record

Chennai: Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay has joined Instagram and shared his photo as the first post. He greeted fans and wrote, "Hello Nanbas and Nanbis".
He also said that the photograph is from the sets of Leo, the movie he is currently working on.
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to follow him and within a few hours, he had one million followers. This made him one of the quickest people to get one million followers on the social media platform. He is now the third celeb to reach this mark within 99 minutes. The K-pop band BTS holds the record for the quickest one million followers. They hit the mark within 43 minutes. Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is second with 59 minutes.
The industry insiders also welcomed him. Amazon Prime Video wrote, "Vanakkam Thalapathy."
