Mumbai: In a recent interview on 'Had Kar Di with Momin Saqib,' Pakistani actor Nausheen Shah expressed her views on cross-border relations between actors and took a critical stance on Indian actress Kangana Ranaut's comments about Pakistan.

Nausheen Shah began by emphasizing the importance of mutual respect among actors from different countries. However, her tone shifted when she mentioned Kangana Ranaut, whom she referred to as an "extremist." Nausheen expressed her desire to meet Kangana and, in a symbolic gesture, alluded to wanting to give her a strong message.

Shah's grievance seemed to be Kangana Ranaut's comments about Pakistan and its military. She questioned how Kangana, an Indian actress, had so much information about the Pakistan Army and intelligence agencies when even many Pakistanis lacked such insight. Nausheen contended that these matters were closely guarded secrets within Pakistan and questioned Kangana's sources of information.

Despite her criticism, Nausheen Shah acknowledged Kangana's talents as a "brilliant, beautiful actress." However, she was unequivocal in her stance that Kangana needed to show more respect for other countries and people.

The interview quickly gained attention on social media platforms, particularly YouTube, where it was posted. Fans of Kangana Ranaut came to her defence, with some noting that Kangana had "Y security" and implying that any attempt to confront her physically would be met with resistance. Others argued that Nausheen Shah's newfound fame was largely due to her comments about Kangana.

Kangana is currently gearing up for the release of 'Chandramukhi 2' and her directorial venture 'Emergency,' in which she portrays the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Additionally, Kangana has 'Tejas' in the pipeline, where she will be seen as an Air Force pilot.
