Fighter trailer unleashes high-octane action starring Hrithik and Deepika

Mumbai: The eagerly anticipated trailer for Siddharth Anand's film "Fighter" was released on Monday, delivering an intense emotional journey.

The trailer introduces Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor, directing his "special response team," including Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan) and Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Deepika Padukone). They are urged to foster "interpersonal relations" as a crucial weapon in times of war.

The narrative unfolds in Jammu and Kashmir, where Hrithik, Deepika, and their companions enjoy moments of camaraderie. However, the tranquility is shattered by a terrorist attack in Pulwama, leading to Hrithik and Deepika's elite team embarking on a mission of a lifetime, followed by a cross-border airstrike in response.

The trailer is a thrilling experience with high-octane aerial action sequences, promising to captivate audiences until the movie's theatrical release on January 25th.

Hrithik Roshan, portraying a man on a mission, seeks to defend his country and avenge the fallen fighters.

Hrithik Roshan shared the trailer on his Instagram feed with the caption, "Dil aakaash ke naam, aur jaan desh ke naam. Jai Hind (the heart is dedicated to the sky, and life is dedicated to the country. Jai Hind)."

Deepika Padukone, sharing the teaser a month prior, expressed her excitement with the caption, "Fighter Forever. #FighterTeaserOutNow."

"Fighter" marks the first collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. The duo has joined forces with Siddharth Anand, with whom Hrithik Roshan has previously worked on projects like "Bang Bang" and the 2019 blockbuster "War." This film also marks Deepika Padukone's third collaboration with Siddharth Anand after "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and the 2023 hit "Pathaan," featuring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.

In addition to the lead cast, the film features Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover in significant roles.
