Warner received a warm welcome upon his arrival, greeted with a massive bouquet. Fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of him, with many receiving autographs from the cricketing star.

Stepping into Indian cinema, Warner is making his acting debut with 'Robinhood', directed by Venky Kudumula. Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Warner stated that he thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film.

Last week, the film’s production house, Mythri Movie Makers, officially welcomed Warner on social media, sharing their excitement about his cameo role. Posting on X (formerly Twitter), they wrote, "After shining and leaving a mark on the ground, it is time for him to shine on the silver screen. Introducing the widely loved @davidwarner31 to Indian Cinema with #Robinhood in an exciting cameo. Grand release worldwide on March 28th."

Warner also took to social media to share his excitement, writing on X, "Indian Cinema, here I come. Excited to be a part of #Robinhood. Thoroughly enjoyed shooting for this one. Grand release worldwide on March 28th."

The film stars Nithiin in the lead role as Honey Singh, a modern-day Robin Hood who steals from the rich to help the poor. Alongside Warner and Nithiin, the cast includes Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, and Mime Gopi.

The project boasts music by National Award-winning composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Sai Sriram, art direction by Raam Kumar, and editing by Koti.

'Robinhood' is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 28, 2025.
