Aryan Khan to make web series for Red Chillies Entertainment

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan has reportedly entered into filmmaking, as he has been writing for a web series and had conducted a test shoot for the same on Friday and Saturday at a Mumbai studio, NDTV reported, citing Pinkvilla.

The project is to be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Aryan Khan, who will also be directing the project, took complete charge of the test shoot during the two days, a source told Pinkvilla. The test shoot was the crew's prep, and Aryan wished to bring the crew together and understand the project before the actual shooting started. The series is not titled yet, but Aryan has initiated the pre-production works. Aryan is very passionate about the project, and the actual shooting schedules will be finalized soon, the source informed.

The report also says that Prit Kamani, who acted in Shahid Kapoor's "Jersey", was spotted at the test shoot set, but no official confirmation is out yet.

Twenty-three-year-old Aryan Khan had made headlines last year after he was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 in a drugs case on a cruise ship. He had spent time in jail for 25 days, and the Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 29, 2021.

Regarding his children, Shah Rukh Khan had said that Aryan wishes to rule behind the camera while Suhana Khan, his daughter, before the cam. Khan told DNA that Aryan has been writing, directing and learning stuff for four years, one among the highest level of studies at the University of Southern California.

Suhana is reportedly joining Zoya Akthar's web series based on Archie Comics. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is to have his big release of "Pathaan". The film also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Khan also announced Atlee's untitled project along with Nayanthara.
