Ajay Devgn, known for his role as Singham in Bollywood, recently introduced Deepika Padukone as "Shakti Shetty" in the upcoming film "Singham Again."

Deepika's character is set to be a formidable addition to Rohit Shetty's cop universe.

The first-look posters of Deepika's character were revealed on Instagram, showcasing her in a police uniform, engaged in an intense fight scene with a gun. The backdrop features a building on fire, a police vehicle, and a pile of casualties. In one image, Deepika firmly holds a man, placing a gun in his mouth, while her expression exudes determination.

Ajay Devgn shared the poster with the caption, "Welcome to my squad, Deepika Padukone," along with the hashtag "Singham Again." Deepika responded with a salute emoji. Her husband, Ranveer Singh, who is also part of Rohit Shetty's cop universe (seen in "Simmba"), echoed the sentiment.

Ranveer provided further insights into Deepika's character, Shakti Shetty, by writing, "Aali Re Aali…Lady Singham aali. Shakti Shetty has arrived in the cop-verse."

The post garnered enthusiastic responses from the film industry, including Tiger Shroff, Maheep Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar.

Shakti Shetty is described by Rohit Shetty as the "most brutal and violent officer" in his cop universe.

Meanwhile, the filming of "Singham 2," the third installment of the Singham franchise, commenced last month. The first two films, "Singham" (2011) and "Singham Returns" (2014), set the stage for this much-anticipated sequel.

Deepika Padukone, recognised as "Lady Singham," is expected to make a powerful impact in her new role within the cop universe, under the direction of Rohit Shetty.
