Adele is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, sports executive Rich Paul.

The English singer confirmed the engagement during her concert in Munich, Germany, on August 9.

In a video shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), Adele addressed a fan's proposal from the audience, which read, "Will you marry me?" Adele responded with a smile, "I can't marry you because I am already getting married, but I appreciate it."

She then flashed her left hand, revealing an engagement ring, sparking cheers from the crowd.

Adele and Rich Paul first ignited dating rumors in July 2021 when they were spotted together at an NBA Finals game. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021 when Adele posted a black-and-white photo of them together, captioned with a simple red heart emoji.

Later that year, in November, Adele spoke about her relationship with Rich Paul during her appearance on the CBS special, Adele One Night Only. Speaking with Oprah Winfrey, Adele described Paul as “hilarious and smart,” saying, "He's just hilarious. Oh, he's so funny, he's hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he's very, very smart. It's quite incredible watching him do what he does."

In a 2022 interview with Elle magazine, Adele shared how deeply in love she was with Paul, stating, "I've never been in love like this. I'm obsessed with him."

She also mentioned her desire to have more children, saying, “I definitely want more kids. I'm a homemaker and I'm a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”

Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares a son, Angelo. The couple divorced in 2019.
