New Delhi: Not everybody will let out a burp when others are around, let alone trying an explosive one.
But US woman Kimberly “Kimycola” Winter turned it into a sort of art and few people can now beat her.
She has broken the record for the world’s loudest burp in female category hitting 107.3 dB.
Her burp outshined the previous record of 107 dB set by Elisa Cagnoni from Italy in 2009.
In male category Neville Sharp of Australia let out the loudest burp hitting 112.7 dB in 2021.
Winter’s burp, according to The Guinness World Records, is ‘louder than a blender (70-80 dB), an electric handheld drill (90-95 dB), and even some motorcycles at full throttle (100-110 dB)’.
She recorded her burp in a studio of iHeartRadio station live during the popular radio talk show ‘Elliot in the Morning’ hosted by hosted by DJ Elliot Segal.
Winter told the Guinness World Records that she got ready for burping after eating breakfast along with a coffee and a beer.
She began burping at extraordinary loudness even as a child, which was not always appreciated in public.
She has a fan fallowing on Tik Tok and YouTube where she showcases her unusual talent.
