Speaking in Germany, he stressed that ending the crisis demands dignity above all. "This is the most important thing for us," Zelensky said, per Ukrinform.
He criticized Europe's minimal role at the negotiating table as a major error, vowing to pull the continent fully into talks to safeguard its interests and voice. Ukraine, he added, stays in close touch with US representatives to ensure successful negotiations.
Earlier this month, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov echoed calls for a negotiated end to the Ukraine crisis, rooted in last August's Anchorage meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Moscow, he said, expects its interests honored in any fair dialogue and remains committed to those outcomes.
Lavrov affirmed Russia's dedication to truth, justice, and a multipolar world order based on UN principles, rejecting double standards, neocolonialism, and hegemonism. He pledged to deepen strategic ties with emerging powers and build sanctions-proof systems for trade, investment, finance, and logistics.
