Russian officials are planning to remove Putin: Ukraine says

New Delhi: Perhaps, Russians out there must be saying behind the back of President Putin—"enough is enough, he must go".

Political analysts already wondered why the Russians not thinking of a replacement for Putin who has already done a lot of damage to Russia.

Now Ukraine's Chief of Defence intelligence claimed that Putin would not last the end of the Ukraine war.

Major General Kyrylo Budanov caused dismay to analysts when he said that Russian officials were actively discussing to remove Putin, according to a report by Mirror.

Ukraine is currently fighting putting in great effort to recapture Kherson, a strategic port city.

Major general Kyrylo Budanov was quoted as saying that Putin was unlikely to survive the move to replace him.

Major general Budanov expanded on Ukraine's plan to capture Crimea after taking back Kherson by the end of November.

After invading most of Ukraine, Russia began suffering setbacks when Ukraine began mounting offence against Russian forces.

Russia suffered defeats until September when it increased offence on Ukraine alongside announcing to annex occupied territory and threatened to use nuclear weapons.

Subsequently, Russian missile and drone attacks have crippled the power grids of Ukraine' forcing the embattled nation to ration out energy.
