Hong Kong: An Indian-origin who was caught on-camera molesting a woman in Hong Kong was arrested.
The South Korean tourist was live-streaming her visit to the city when a stranger started pestering her, South China Morning Post reported.
He asked directions to the woman who was waiting at a tram stop in the Central area.
What began as a friendly talk turned to be disturbance to the woman when he got closer to the vlogger.
He grabbed her hand and said ‘Listen, come with me. I’m alone’, while attempting to grope her.
The woman tried to get his arm off her, shouting “No, No, No’, which did not stop the man.
She was seen trying to flee the scene as the man kept following her down on the stairwell at the metro station.
When they were near the station steps, he pressed her against a wall and said ‘ I am alone. Come with me’.
But the woman cried out ‘ I’ m not alone’ as she tried to push him away.
Before fleeing the scene the man grabbed her chest and forcibly kissed her just as the woman was crying for help.
The video caused outrage on social media, with many users claiming the man was Amit Jariyal.
The newspaper reported that the suspect, employed as a waiter, was arrested from Belcher’s Street in Kennedy Town on Tuesday.
Later, livestreaming from Macau where she reached subsequently, the vlogger shared her ordeal and showed bruises from the attack.
