Russian atrocities on Ukraine civilians are worse than reported: Kyiv

Kyiv: Adviser to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian troops, who are accused of massacre and torture of Ukraine civilians must have committed worse atrocities in the war-torn country than what is publically known, IANS reported.

A minimum of 410 civilians have been slaughtered in the Ukraine cities of Bucha and Irpin, on the western side of the capital city, Kyiv, Ukraine, have informed. Daily Mail reported that bodies littering roads and basements were recovered and were buried in mass graves after Russian troops left the scene.

Journalists from the ground have reported that there was concrete evidence of Russian brutality at places from Moscow's troops have withdrawn. Civilians were shot with their hands bound behind their backs, and some bodies bore marks of rape and torture.

President's adviser, Tymofiy Mylovanov, said that there must be more and worse atrocities these troops must have committed. He asked journalists and lawyers to go to the eastern part of Kyiv, such as the suburb of Brovary and villages along the highway to Chernihiv, and document what happened there.

He said that there were eyewitness accounts that children were burnt alive, and young women were raped and executed after. There were incidents where people were forced to eat their pets after being starved deliberately by Russian soldiers. Many might have shot dead at their gardens while planting crops, he said.

Daily Mail had reported that survivors who had to spend weeks in bunkers narrated many incidents of summary executions, sexual violence and terror.
