Ramallah: After Israeli forces killed three Palestinians in West Bank, Palestinian officials said that silence of international community allows Israel’s war crimes to continue unabatedly.
Palestine’s response comes 24 hours after Samir Aslan, 41, Ahmed Abu Junaid, 21, and Sanad Samamra, 18 were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Abu Junaid was shot in the head during an army raid by Israeli forces, according to Arab News.
Samir Aslan was left unattended as he was bleeding after he was detained when he tried to defend his son, Ramzi, during raid.
Rawhi Fattouh, president of the Palestinian National Council, said that executing Aslan in his home in Qalandia camp is part of daily crimes committed by Israeli occupation army.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities warned that the citizenship or residency of any prisoner ,who is accused of carrying out an attack, or receiving funds from the Palestinian Authority to participate in one, will be revoked.
“A citizen or resident who is proven to have received money from the PA to carry out a terrorist act will be considered as someone who, on his own initiative, waived his citizenship or residency, and the minister of interior will revoke their status.” The draft law reportedly said.
Meanwhile, Hussein Al-Sheikh, secretary-general of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s executive committee, met Hadi Amr, the US special representative for Palestinian affairs, on Thursday in Ramallah.
Hussein Al-Sheikh reportedly stressed for “a political horizon that preserves the two-state solution under international legitimacy”.
Further, Hussein Al-Sheikh asked for Israel to stop all its unilateral measures and daily attacks against the Palestinian people.
He added that the attacks, while destroying the solution, creates a challenging and complex atmosphere affecting security and stability.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh told Hadi Amr that the US administration should urgently to put an end to the unilateral Israeli measures and threats that undermine the national authority.
