The National Cyber Security Coordinator, Rajesh Pant on Thursday said that it is integral to build cyber hygiene in the country amidst the increased cyber security threats.
"Threats to cyber security are one of the biggest risks to National security, and awareness and building cyber hygiene followed by audits is very important," Pant was speaking at the DX Secure Summit, PTI reported.

Hence, every company needs a sense of security, said Microsoft India group head and director, Ashutosh Chadha.
"Cyber security is not just about managing risk, it's also a strategic issue that shapes product capability, organizational effectiveness, and customer relationships," said CII Centre for Digital Transformation chairman and NIIT vice-chairman and MD Vijay Thadani. According to him, India should become a service provider for cyber security. Artificial Intelligence should be used to moderate cyber threats.
The website of the Institute of Science, Nagpur was recently hacked by 'Dragon Force Malaysia' amidst protests against the remarks made by now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and party leader Naveen Kumar Jindal on Prophet Mohammad.
"It is a special operation on the insult of our Prophet Mohammad" was written on the homepage of the hacked website.
