AI Impact Summit 2026 to draw global leaders to New Delhi

The AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi is set to bring together heads of state, top policymakers, and global technology leaders as India positions itself at the centre of international discussions on artificial intelligence governance, safety, and collaboration.

The five-day summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is expected to attract more than 2.5 lakh visitors from around the world.

According to officials, the summit will host international delegates, government representatives, industry leaders, researchers, and startups, alongside major global technology companies, academic institutions, Union ministries, state governments, and international partners. Key global concerns such as job displacement, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and child safety in the digital space are expected to dominate the agenda.

Among the prominent global leaders attending are French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Senior international figures, including IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and several European and Asian prime ministers, are also scheduled to arrive in the capital over multiple days.

The summit aims to work toward a shared global roadmap on artificial intelligence at a time when governments worldwide are grappling with its economic, social, and security implications. A major international AI Expo will be held alongside the summit, featuring 13 country pavilions showcasing cross-border collaboration and innovation.
