New Delhi : Google has launched a new ad format called vehicle ads in Search, which enables users to find nearby cars for sale as more people turn to the web for information about their next car.
The Google report shows that 89 percent of new car buyers do their research online, and shoppers also buy online.
"In 2021, 16 per cent of new car buyers purchased their car online, up from only 1 per cent three years prior," said Google.
Car sellers can use vehicle ads to easily reach customers looking for a new vehicle, currently available in the United States and coming to other countries soon.
Those who look for a 2019 SUV can pick from several local options or have one delivered - as well as photos and inventory details like location, make, model, price, and mileage.
"Once they select a car, the ad will direct them to the vehicle description page on your website where they can fill out a lead form or get your dealership's contact information," Google informed
You can assign a value to each action after selecting them, such as leads and store visits.
During beta testing, advertisers who used vehicle ads to supplement existing Search campaigns saw an average increase in conversions of 25 percent.
