Ind-England Test: India all-out for 245 in 2nd innings

Birmingham: In the second innings of the fifth match of the India-England Test series, India got all out for 245. As India had a lead of 132 runs from the first innings, England had to chase 378 runs to win and write history, NDTV reported.

On the fourth day of the match at the Edgebaston Stadium, England's chase started well as openers Alex Lees, and Zak Crawly took the team score to 21 for no wickets in 5 overs.

Earlier, Cheteshwar Pujara became the top scorer for India with 66 runs before he gave catch to Alex Lees at backward point and wicket to Stuart Broad. He had sent eight balls to fences through the field.

In the first innings start, batter and century scorer Rishabh Pant supported the scoring with 57 runs off 86 balls with eight boundaries. He gave catch to Root at slip, giving a wicket to Jack Leach.

Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Hanuma Vihari, and Mohammed Shami, who all reached two digits, could not contribute much to the team effort.

When Ben Stokes took four wickets favouring England, Stuart Broad and Matthew Potts took two wickets each.

In the first innings, Pant and Jadeja scored centuries, while Bhumrah and Shami performed well at the tail end to take India to a fair score of 416.
