Hyderabad: Coming down firmly on the Madhya Pradesh government and its Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouan, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Tuesday that the administration, as well as the CM, are biased on the Muslim minority in the BJP ruled state. Owaisi was reacting to the state government's action, shearing down the houses of the accused in the violence during the Ram Navami procession in Khargone, Asian News International reported.
In a press conference, he had said that the violence happened with the support of the state and was a grave violation of the Geneva Convention. He questioned the MP government about the law, which allows it to destroy houses belonging to the Muslim community.
Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Khargone district authorities and police destroyed illegal buildings of the accused in the Ram Navami violence. The authorities pulled down 45 houses and shops.
Regarding the parallel violence that happened inside JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) campus, the conflict regarding the alleged non-veg food issue, Owaisi said that BJP and RSS are making the country weak.
