New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday decided to put off the ongoing board examinations in the wake of COVID-19 situation in the nation.

In a notification issued on Wednesday, the board announced that all exams for class 10 and class 12 students all across the country and abroad will be rescheduled after March 31.

The announcement came after the HRD ministry said that exams were important but safety and security of students and teachers was equally important.
