Kolkata: Asserting its stand further, West Bengal Assembly on Monday passed a resolution against Citizenship CAA.
The resolution demanded repeal of the contentious law, alongside the National Population Register (NPR) and the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC).
With this move, Bengal becomes the forth state to pass a resolution against CAA.
States that have already passed resolution, began with Kerala, include Congress-ruled Punjab and Rajasthan.
