Bengaluru, May 19 (IANS) Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa resigned on Saturday before facing a crucial trust vote in the Karnataka Assembly with numbers stacked against the BJP in the newly elected House.
Yeddyurappa told the House, "I will not face confidence vote; I am going to resign". Before making his declaration, he made a passionate speech about his past, dedication to people's cases, and arguing that the mandate was against the Congress.
