New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday summoned Pakistan's s High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit, over the recent ceasefire violations from the other side of the border.
According to reports, the MEA is expected to register its protest against the killing of innocent civilians.
Heavy shelling and firing by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district left six civilians dead and 15 others injured.
Firing and shelling in Balakot Sector again broke out this morning. Panic has been prevailing among the people living along the border and they have started migrating towards safer places.
