Saudi - Iraqi parliamentary committees discuss enhancing cooperation

The Saudi-Iraqi Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shoura Council met with members of its Iraqi counterpart on Tuesday in Riyadh. The meeting, reported by the Saudi Press Agency, was led by Ibrahim Al-Qannas, Shoura Council member and chairman of the friendship committee and Iraqi MP Shaalan Al-Karim, who is visiting Saudi Arabia.

The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Iraq. The committees emphasized the importance of activating their roles in strengthening ties and addressing mutual interests. The meeting also covered various topics, aiming to strengthen cooperation in regional and international parliamentary forums.
