Dubai: The Museum of the Future, in collaboration with Dubai Future Labs, is set to host a transformative series of dialogue sessions during Ramadan, titled 'Ramadan Majlis Nights.' These sessions delve into the fusion of Islamic principles with innovations, aiming to chart a course for the future.
The 'Ramadan Majlis Nights' will revolve around the theme "Threads of Virtue: Weaving Islamic Principles into the Fabric of Future Innovations." These sessions will spotlight the intrinsic connection between Islam's profound legacy and contemporary scientific advancements and policy formulation.
With its inaugural session on March 16th, the Majlis Nights delves into the seamless integration of Islamic ethical principles within modern scientific and technological research. Esteemed scholars, Dr. Roy Casagranda and Dr. Mohamed Qasem will lead the the first session, drawing insights from Islamic scholars in science and philosophy.
On March 23rd, the focus shifts to sustainability and ethical stewardship within the Islamic framework. Dr. Reema Misbah Al Qaruty and Professor Odeh Al-Jayyousi, alongside Manal Bahman, will explore the intersection between environmental sustainability, ethical responsibility and the future landscape.
Concluding the series on March 30th, the session will discuss the pivotal role of technology and digital transformation in fostering sustainable development. Dr. Abdallah Rothman and Awad Bin Hasoum Al Darmaki will lead the dialogue, emphasizing the fusion of Islamic spirituality with modern technological advancements.
